Glass Family
The Glass family came to Burke with Harvey Belote. Harvey's mother was Rachel Sawyer Glass, who was born in Tennessee and died in Marion Co, Texas in 1893.
Two of Rachel's siblings came to Burke: James Harvey Glass, Jr.,and Mary Campbell Glass.
James Harvey and wife Sarah Elizabeth Gann Glass lived at Bradley Prairie in 1880. Their children were:
- Margaret Ann
- John T.
- James Holly, who married Cora Fairchild
Mary Campbell Glass married Jeremiah T. Warner. Their daughter Birdie Ellis Warner Spivey married Thomas Sherwood Spivey. She is buried at Belote-Spivey Cemetery at Burke.
